Yoga Nidra, also known as “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practiced lying down. It effortlessly guides us into a state between wakefulness and sleep. Yoga Nidra is perfect for anyone, including those who are brand-new to yoga and meditation. All that’s required is a willingness to lie down, listen and rest.
Accessible to all. Yoga Nidra is particularly beneficial for those struggling to let go or dealing with sleep issues and stress. Yoga Nidra is a remedy for burnout, stress, anxiety, and our body’s need for rest.
To practice, you simply lie down comfortably and I’ll guide you for around 45 minutes. Setting an intention, exploring inner resources, and connecting with the body and breath lead to a deep state of relaxation. Emotions and thoughts may surface, offering opportunities for new understanding and resolution.
Rooted in ancient philosophy, Yoga Nidra integrates Indian Vedanta teachings. It serves as an experiential map, revealing our essence as the stillness of awareness.
In our fast-paced world, Yoga Nidra provides a profound yet easy way to rest deeply and engage in meditative inquiry. By surrendering, we rediscover our essential nature of wholeness, fostering authenticity and deep self-trust. This practice is a journey of healing, kindness, and surrender, inviting you to fall in love with yourself again. Join me in experiencing the transformative power of Yoga Nidra.
