Wild Grace offers journeying circles where we gather as a group to use shamanic and druidic journeying practices to for healing, life direction and guidance, and to enhance our connection with spirit and the higher self.
Shamanism is the oldest spiritual practice for divination and healing. In Core Shamanism we use percussion – drums and rattles – to enter a shamanic state of consciousness. In this state of non-ordinary reality, we can communicate directly with compassionate spirits, spirit guides, power animals, and nature spirits.
In Celtic Shamanism we add the power of storytelling, using archetypal Irish, Scottish and Welsh myths to access wisdom, guidance and healing.
Most people are surprised by how easy it is to journey in this way and receive direct guidance and healing. Indeed the ease of the practice suggests human consciousness was designed to work in this way.
We will gather monthly to practice journeying, sonic driving (using percussion to alter states of consciousness), connecting with our spirit guides and power animals, and other shamanic healing techniques.
Participants will be shown how to journey to meet spirit guides and what purposes journeying may be used for. We will also use this time to engage the focused intention of the group to bring healing to the environment or specific communities.
No prior experience is required, but experienced practitioners are welcome. Please bring a drum if you have one (not required)
Starts August 2023.
